Tyler is a graduate of Creighton University where he obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2009. He has worked in various pharmacy settings including retail, hospital, and long-term care. He was hired at the the board of pharmacy in March 2018 as an inspector and in May of 2024 became the Executive Director.
